TRIFED, a National level Organisation under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India aims to improve the livelihoods of the tribal communities by creating markets and business opportunities for them based on their culture, traditional skills whilst ensuring fair and equitable remuneration. It is engaged in the marketing of tribal handicrafts relating to metal craft, pottery, paintings,jewellery, textiles in silks, cottons and woollens as well as Cane & Bamboo items and food & naturals.
