Aliansi Masyarakat Adat Nusantara (AMAN) is an independent social organization with a vision to realize a just and prosperous life for all Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia. AMAN was established in 1999 and acts as an advocacy group and umbrella organization representing indigenous groups across Indonesia. It works to protect indigenous lands, languages, cultures and natural resources by lobbying the government and raising awareness amongst the public by bringing indigenous crafts to the market.
