The Ma'anyan community, a sub-ethnic group of the Dayak community, creates woven rattan products using natural processing methods. They obtain the black color by fermenting rambutan leaves. Inspired by the plants and animals in their village, they incorporate motifs into their woven rattan. The Ngaman Talam Jari group, belonging to the Ma'anyan community, produces marketable products such as the rambat, which means bag in the Dayak community of Central Kalimantan. The Ma'anyan community's customary territory is located in the East Barito District of Central Kalimantan. Their core values revolve around the spirit of "Anrau Iram Suluk Matu," emphasizing togetherness in both good and bad times. The Dayak Ma'anyan tradition involves sowing yellow rice and lighting incense to seek strength from ancestral spirits. The Paramisi Dayak Ma'anyan ritual encompasses sinubuhnya beras, where rice grains are placed on the head to request blessings from ancestors, and ranu tatungkal, a symbolic water-splashing ritual to cleanse negativity.
