Some highlights of the book include the stories of Ne’ Butung, a 100-year-old Master weaver talking about “Mangkabi’ or the hand-braiding technique. Alongside Yenny, her grand-daughter and also Feby, the youngest member of the weaving community, who decided to take up weaving in order to pay for her university fees.
