Dobo Weaving is divided into two types: Lipa for men and Utan for women. It is a traditional activity practiced by indigenous women in the Lantena community of Sikka District, East Nusa Tenggara. The Eban Watan weaving group markets textiles produced by this community. Dobo, a village known for its ancient bronze artifacts, called Jong Dobo, is where these textiles originate. The village also features megalithic objects called Watu Mahe, and traditional dances like Nuru, performed to ward off misfortune, and Jata Kapa Dobo, which showcases the weaving process.
