The natural material used in this classic wallet is called Bemban. It is reed that thrives even in water and this is why it is also found growing in the buffer areas of the Danau Sentarum National Park. Bemban mats are woven by Dayak Iban, women in Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan. So far, over 100 motifs of these mats have been documented.
